Dear Grandma there are not enough;
Good words that I can say,
To tell you how I love you;
In a great and glorious way,
So I wrote a little poem,
That I will now reveal;
It’s not much but I know through it,
I can tell you how I feel:
I cherish you with all my heart,
My love goes way down deep;
With all the lovely times we’ve had,
Lots of memories we can keep.
Remember when I was 8years ;
I was aiming for a goal ,
To perch upon a trotting horse;
And in my grip control,
Well now it’s 4 years later,
But I remember plain;
You gave me that whole “dream come true”;
And I thank you once again.
Dear Grandma there are not enough;
Good words that I can say,
To tell you how I love you;
In a great and glorious way,
I cherish you with all my heart,
My love goes way down deep;
With all the lovely times we’ve had,
Lots of memories we can keep.
And though at times waters deep,
May make us wait and wait;
Hopefully we’ll meet again ;
On one side of that great blue gate.
In an airplane or a boat,
We’ll sail across the sea;
To be together once again;
Together, you and me.
Dear Grandma there are not enough;
Good words that I can say,
To tell you how I love you;
In a great and glorious way,
I cherish you with all my heart,
My love goes way down deep;
With all the lovely times we’ve had,
Lots of memories we can keep.
Sweet, gentle, caring,
Kind, and loving too,
All I wanted to say;
Is how much I love you.
There’s so much more that I could tell;
But I’ll wrap it up and say ;
You’re a very special grandma,
In each and every way.
Dear Grandma there are not enough;
Good words that I can say,
To tell you how I love you;
In a great and glorious way,
I cherish you with all my heart,
My love goes way down deep;
With all the lovely times we’ve had,
Lots of memories we can keep.
I wrote this poem for my Grandma on her birthday. I worked hard to make it say exactly what I wanted it to for my wonderful Grandma. She is so special to me that I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. I love you Grandma.
this poem is amazing,nicole.I wish I could write like that.
